These are so gooey and sweet but very much worth fixing!!

Ingredients

  • 1 box german chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 1/2 cups powdered sugar

How To Make gooey german chocolate brownies

  • Step 1
    350 degree oven. Mix together cake mix, butter, egg, and nuts. Spread in an ungreased 9 x 13" metal pan. For Topping: beat together cream cheese, eggs, vanilla and powdered sugar. Pour over the brownie batter and bake 40 minutes or until cheese topping turns lightly golden. Do not overbake.
  • Step 2
    Remove from oven and cool before cutting into bars. The topping will remain somewhat goeey. Makes 24 bars.
