How to Make Gooey German Chocolate Brownies
- 1350 degree oven. Mix together cake mix, butter, egg, and nuts. Spread in an ungreased 9 x 13" metal pan.
For Topping: beat together cream cheese, eggs, vanilla and powdered sugar. Pour over the brownie batter and bake 40 minutes or until cheese topping turns lightly golden. Do not overbake.
- 2Remove from oven and cool before cutting into bars. The topping will remain somewhat goeey. Makes 24 bars.
