I found this recipe years ago and like the fact that it is so easy to make and uses only one pan. It is so reliable and everyone loves these brownies.

Ingredients

4 ounces chocolate, unsweetened
2/3 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt

How To Make fudge brownies

Step 1

Preheat oven 350 degrees. Grease 9x12 pan. Over medium heat in large saucepan, Melt shortening and chocolate until smooth. Remove from heat.

Step 2

Add sugar and blend well. Add eggs one at a time, stirring after each one. Stir in vanilla. Add dry ingredients, mixing well.
Step 3

Pour into pan and bake 30 minutes. Do no overtake.
