What could be better than an eclair-like crust, rich, creamy vanilla pudding, whipped topping, and chocolate fudge? Everyone loves this yummy dessert! I found this in my husband's family cookbook and it's definitely a keeper! Love it!

Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 4 - eggs
- 2 (3.4 oz) packages instant vanilla pudding
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 8 ounces whipped topping, thawed
- 12 ounces chocolate fudge topping
How To Make french pastry cake

Step 1Bring water and butter to a boil. Add flour, mix well, and cool slightly.

Step 2Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each.

Step 3Press into greased 10 x 14 pan and bake at 450 for 15-20 minutes, until crust is golden with a crater-like surface. Remove from oven and cool.

Step 4To make filling, mix the pudding, milk, vanilla, and cream cheese in blender. Pour into cooled crust and chill.

Step 5Before serving, spread with whipped topping and drizzle with chocolate fudge topping.
