Ingredients
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk(14 ounces)
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/3 cup chopped nuts (optional)
How To Make five minute fudge

Step 1Place all ingredients (except nuts) in a 1 1/2 quart sauce pan.Cook over medium high heat,stirring constantly until chocolate chips have melted and mixture is smooth.Remove from heat and stir in the nuts.

Step 2Scrape into a 8 inch square pan that has been sprayed with non stick spray.Allow to cool and cut into 1 inch squares.

Step 3Variations:To make peanut butter fudge substitute peanut butter chips and add 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter to the batter. To make butterscotch fudge replace chocolate chips with butterscotch flavored ones.

Step 4To make a colored fudge use white chocolate chips and use a small amount of food coloring gel to tint can also add flavoring (creme de menthe,rum,or your choice of other extracts,)If Flavoring with extract use 1or two teaspoons depending on your taste preference.
