Ingredients For five minute fudge

  • 1 can
    sweetened condensed milk(14 ounces)
  • 12 oz
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch
    salt
  • 1/3 c
    chopped nuts (optional)

How To Make five minute fudge

  • 1
    Place all ingredients (except nuts) in a 1 1/2
    quart sauce pan.Cook over medium high heat,stirring
    constantly until chocolate chips have melted and
    mixture is smooth.Remove from heat and stir in the nuts.

    Scrape into a 8 inch square pan that has been sprayed with non stick spray.Allow to cool and cut into 1 inch squares.

    Variations:To make peanut butter fudge substitute
    peanut butter chips and add 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter to the batter.
    To make butterscotch fudge replace chocolate chips with butterscotch flavored ones.

    To make a colored fudge use white chocolate chips
    and use a small amount of food coloring gel to tint
    can also add flavoring (creme de menthe,rum,or your choice of other extracts,)If Flavoring with extract
    use 1or two teaspoons depending on your taste
    preference.
