116.5 oz tube refrigerated sugar cookie dough

1/3 cflour
-
1 Tbsplemon zest
-
1 ccherry preserves, like smuckers
How to Make Easy citrus-cherry thumbprint cookies
- Heat oven to 350. Place parchment paper down on a lg cookie sheet. On floured surface, knead dough, flour and lemon zest until combined.
- Shape dough into 1"-balls. Place dough balls 2" apart on cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 mins, or until golden.
- Using the handle end of wooden spoon, press an indent into center of each ball. Spoon preserves into centers. Let cool. If desired, sprinkle cooled cookies w/ powdered sugar.
