Ingredients

  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    water
  • ·
    oil, for frying
  • 1 pkg
    refrigerated biscuits, like pillsbury, 10 biscuits

How to Make East chocolate-glazed doughnuts

Step-by-Step

  1. In small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, cocoa and water until smooth.
  2. In lg saucpan, heat 1" of oil over high heat until hot, but not smoking. Separate biscuits. Using a sharp knife, cut out a small circle in the center of each biscuit, to form doughnut shapes.
  3. Cook doughnuts and holes in hot oil for about 1 min per side. Drain on paper towels. While still warm, dip doughnuts and doughnut holes into glaze mix.
