1 1/3 cups hershey's premier white chocolate
2 tablespoons shortening
1 cup hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 cups fresh strawberries, rinsed patted dry and chilled

How To Make double chocolate dipped strawberries

Step 1

Cover tray with wax paper. Place white chips and 1 tablespoon of shortening in medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at HIGH (100%) 1 minute; stir unil chips are melted and mixture is smooth, If necessary, microwave at HIGH for additional 30 seconds at a time, just until smooth when stirred. Holding by the top, dip 2/3 of each strawberry into white chocolate chip mixture: shake gently to remove excess. Place on prepared tray: refrigerate until firm, at least 30 minutes. Repeat Microwave procedure with chocolate chips in a clean microwave-safe bowl. Dip 1/3 of each berry into chocolate mixture. Refrigerate until firm. Cover. Refrigerate leftover strawberries.
