Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 3 ounces chocolate, unsweetened squares
  • 3 cups sifted confectioners sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup strong coffee
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make dark chocolate frosting

  • Step 1
    Melt chocolate over low heat.
  • Step 2
    Stir soft butter into the melted chocolate.
  • Step 3
    Add sifted salt and confectioners sugar alternately with the coffee. Beat to the desired consistency. Beat in vanilla.
