Ingredients
- 11 1/2 ounces nestle chocolate chips
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 pounds powdered sugar
- - peppermint extract
- - food coloring. any colored desired
- 1 cup granulated sugar
How To Make cream cheese mints

Step 1Soften cream cheese.

Step 2In a mixer mix cream cheese and powdered sugar.

Step 3Add peppermint extract (to desired taste)

Step 4Add food coloring (to desired color). Set aside.

Step 5Melt chocolate chips in the microwave 1/2 bag at a time.

Step 6Make a half inch ball out of the cream cheese mixture.

Step 7Roll the half inch balls in a bowl of the granulated sugar until nicely coated.

Step 8Take chocolate in a spoon and dollop it into a 1/4 disk onto a sheet pan covered with wax paper.

Step 9Place the half inch ball onto the chocolate disk.

Step 10Repeat until mixture is gone.

Step 11Then place the completed mints into the freezer until chocolate is firm.

Step 12Mints can be removed from pan and can touch each other with out disassembling. Store in the freezer.
