Since my husband loves both peanut butter and bananas and I had both on hand, I did a little experimenting. I made this bread, which lasted all of 30 minutes, lol, what w/ him and the grand children eating it all up! A quick and easy snack bread to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1/3 c
    water
  • 1 stick
    softened butter
  • 2 large
    ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 1-1/3 c
    chopped reese's peanut better cups
  • 1/2 c
    dark chocolate chips

How to Make Crazy peanut butter-banana bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 350. Lightly spray a loaf pan w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, beat cake mix, water, butter, bananas and eggs until combined.
  2. Stir in 1 cup chopped peanut butter cups and chocolate chips. Pour into pan and bake 45-55 mins, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  3. Sprinkle w/ remaining chopped peanut butter cups.
