I just love sweet with heat and then add some crunch of popcorn and nuts with the salty chew of bacon and it becomes the perfect indulging snack. Problem with this yummy combination is knowing when to stop. hehe It's just a great combination of flavors! Hope you enjoy my secret indulgence that I have when I want an over the top treat!

Ingredients For crackin' cayenne chocolate corn

  • 10 - 12 c
    popcorn, popped
  • chocolate bark candy coating, melted or discs --i use 1/2 dark & 1/2 milk chocolate mixed together
  • 2 c
    peanuts, salted and without skins, whole or chopped
  • 1 c
    pecans, halved or chopped
  • 2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 - 1 c
    bacon bits

How To Make crackin' cayenne chocolate corn

    Popped corn, peanuts, pecans mix together in a shallow bowl or on a cookie tray.

    Melt down your chocolate in a double boiler or microwave; whichever is easier for you. When melted add your cayenne pepper to your taste. I would start with 1 tsp and then add more. Stir chocolate till the cayenne is well combined. Next, drizzle over your popcorn and nuts and then sprinkle the bacon bits over the top.
