Clancy's Chocolate Filled Pretzel Rings

Cynthia Huskins

Clancy's Pretzel Rings - I only just learned of these wonderful little creations as they are not to be found Down South, at least not in the great state of North Carolina! My parents were traveling north of the Mason-Dixon and bought a dozen or so bags and gave me one bag, all because of this magical recipe, which is on the back of the bag. The bag says distributed by ALDI. No ALDI's down here.

For you folks who have access to these little round pretzels, MAKE THESE! Better yet, have your kids/grandkids make them for you!

(And, please mail me some more bags!)

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
  2. Place pretzel rings on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
  3. Place chocolate drop (Hershey's Kiss) in the center of each pretzel ring.
  4. Place in oven and melt slightly. Only 5 - 10 minutes!
  5. Remove from oven and press chocolate down into pretzel with the back of a spoon.
  6. Place candy-coated chocolate piece (M&M) in center of chocolate and gently press down.
  7. Refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.
  8. ENJOY! If there are any left (none at my house!)they can be stored in tightly covered containers. Or give as gifts for special occasions and holidays. (Says that right on the bag!)
