Ingredients
- 1 - sleeve saltine crackers(about 40 crackers)
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 ounces bag of chocolate chips
- - nuts or sprinkles for topping
How To Make christmas cracker toffee

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.line cookie sheet with foil and sray with oil.

Step 2Cover cookie sheet with one layer of saltines. In saucepan over medium heat bring butter and brown sugar to a boil. Stirring continuously for about 2 minutes.

Step 3Remove from heat stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Pour over crackers evenly and bake for 6 minutes.

Step 4Remove from oven sprinkle warm crackers with chocolate chips.

Step 5Allow chocolate to soften then spread chocolate evenly on top of crackers. Sprinkle with nuts or holiday sprinkles. Cool. Break apart.
