These tempting chocolate brownies have a mild chocolate flavor. They are very easy to prepare, yet specially delicious. Oven Temp: 350 degrees F

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup chocolate-flavored syrup, canned
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • GARNISH
  • - pecans or walnuts
  • - powdered sugar

How To Make chocolate syrup brownies (oven version)

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    In a bowl, cream together butter, sugar and eggs until very creamy and well blended.
  • Step 3
    Add salt.
  • Step 4
    Stir in flour, mixing to blend well.
  • Step 5
    Add chocolate syrup, vanilla and chopped nuts.
  • Step 6
    Turn mixture into well greased and lightly floured 9-inch square pan.
  • Step 7
    Smooth top.
  • Step 8
    Bake at 350 degrees F for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
  • Step 9
    Cool in pan on wire rack but loosen cake at edges.
  • Step 10
    Cut into squares.
  • Step 11
    Garnish with pecan or walnut halves or dust with powdered sugar.
