Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 1 dash salt
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup chocolate-flavored syrup, canned
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- GARNISH
- - pecans or walnuts
- - powdered sugar
How To Make chocolate syrup brownies (oven version)

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2In a bowl, cream together butter, sugar and eggs until very creamy and well blended.

Step 3Add salt.

Step 4Stir in flour, mixing to blend well.

Step 5Add chocolate syrup, vanilla and chopped nuts.

Step 6Turn mixture into well greased and lightly floured 9-inch square pan.

Step 7Smooth top.

Step 8Bake at 350 degrees F for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.

Step 9Cool in pan on wire rack but loosen cake at edges.

Step 10Cut into squares.

Step 11Garnish with pecan or walnut halves or dust with powdered sugar.
