chocolate syrup brownies (microwave version)

These tempting chocolate brownies have a mild chocolate flavor. They are very easy to prepare, yet specially delicious. Microwave setting: HIGH 100% Microwave cooking time: about 12 minutes REMEMBER: Shield top corners of dish with foil triangles to assure even cooking. REMEMBER: Turn dish a half turn after each 3 minutes if your microwave oven is not a rotating one.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup chocolate-flavored syrup, canned
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • GARNISH
  • - pecans or walnuts
  • - powdered sugar

How To Make chocolate syrup brownies (microwave version)

  • Step 1
    Cream together butter and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Step 2
    Add eggs, one at a time. Add salt.
  • Step 3
    Stir in chocolate syrup, flour and vanilla. Add nuts and stir to blend well.
  • Step 4
    Turn into greased and lightly floured 8-inch square microsafe pan or dish.
  • Step 5
    Microwave at HIGH power for about 3 minutes. Let rest for 3 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Microwave at HIGH power for another 3 minutes and let rest for 3 minutes.
  • Step 7
    Finally microwave at HIGH power for 2 more minutes or until batter is set and done to your liking.
  • Step 8
    Let rest in pan for a couple of minutes or until almost cool.
  • Step 9
    Cut into squares. Remove from pan and garnish with nuts or powdered sugar.
