Ingredients

  • CRUST INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • FIRST LAYER
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • SECOND LAYER
  • 1 small box instant vanilla pudding, prepared
  • THIRD LAYER
  • 1 small box instant chocolate pudding, prepared
  • FOURTH LAYER
  • 1 package whipped topping

How To Make chocolate layer dessert

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350. Mix together crust ingredients. Press into 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake for 20-30 minutes. Don't let it brown. Cool.
  • Step 2
    Beat ingredients for first layer. Spread over cooled crust. Let set up a little in the fridge.
  • Step 3
    Prepare the vanilla pudding. Spread over first layer being careful not to combine the layers.
  • Step 4
    Prepare the chocolate pudding. Spread over second layer being careful not to combine the layers.
  • Step 5
    Spread whipped topping over third layer being careful not to combine the layers.
  • Step 6
    Put dessert into fridge and let chill completely. Sprinkle top with grated chocolate bar if desired.
