Ingredients
- 11/2 cups sugar
- 3 tablespoons baking cocoa (powder)
- - dash of salt
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 11/2 cups evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
How To Make chocolate ice cream sauce

Step 1In small sauce pan stir together the first 3 ingredients over low heat until warm.

Step 2add butter and milk, increase milk, gentle boil until it is as thick as you would like it to be. I cook mine about 20 minutes and it is just right.

Step 3take sauce off of the heat, stir in vanilla. We use this on ice cream, cake, cookies, graham crackers.
