Growing up as a child, this was what I made when we were having a big breakfast (morning or for supper-my favorite). This is soo yummy over biscuits with a little butter.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa, unsweetened
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
How To Make chocolate gravy

Step 1In medium size saucepan, mix dry ingredients to break up flor and cocoa lumps.

Step 2Add milk and cook on medium/high heat until mixture becomes thick and bubbly.

Step 3Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.

Step 4Serve over scratch buttermilk biscuits (no canned or frozen biscuits please- that would be a southern sin haha!)
