This is a simple, tasty glaze for topping almost anything you'd like! I've used it on cupcakes (see my Hot Fudge Sundae cupcakes), as drizzle on a cake or a truffle.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

How To Make chocolate ganache

  • Step 1
    Pour whipping cream into saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil.
  • Step 2
    Remove from heat, and gradually stir in chocolate chips until the mixture is smooth.
  • Step 3
    This makes a shiny, beautiful glaze. You can refrigerate leftovers and rewarm them. You may have to add a little whipping cream when rewarming.
