this is the easy way to make this great dessert without having to chop pecans!

1 box
pecan sandies
1 stick
margarine or butter
1 c
powdered sugar
1 pkg
8 oz cream cheese
containers of cool whip
2 box
chocolate instant pudding mix
2 3/4 c


1crush pecan sandies finely, mix with melted stick of butter, press firmly in bottom on sheet cake pan (9x13) and bake @ 350 degrees until golden brown..remove and cool - layer 1
2combine powdered sugar, cream cheese and 1 container of cool whip...spread over crust - layer 2
3make the instant pudding - combine milk and pudding mix as suggested on box...then spread over layer 2 - layer 3
4spread the other container of cool whip on top. you can fancy it up by sprinkling cocoa on top or chocolate bar shavings if desired - layer 4...put in fridge to set then enjoy
