Just can't get much better than sweet, salty and chocolate. I do love this snack and I hope you will, too:)

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 12 ounces bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • - saltine crackers

How To Make chocolate crackers

  • Step 1
    Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Cover bottom with saltine crackers, putting them as close together as possible.
  • Step 2
    Preheat oven to 350. Melt butter then mix in the sugar. Pour over the crackers (make sure you cover all the crackers).
  • Step 3
    Bake @350 for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle chocolate chips over crackers & bake an additional 2 minutes or until chocolate chips have melted.
  • Step 5
    Remove from oven and spread chocolate out making sure all crackers have some chocolate on them.
  • Step 6
    Refrigerate until chocolate has hardened then break into pieces.
