Notes from the Test Kitchen:
Nothing is better than a chocolate covered strawberry - it's the perfect ending to a special meal. No need to pay a fortune at the store when you can easily make them at home yourself. These are very impressive when served!


2 pkg
strawberries, fresh (16 oz each)
parchment paper
1/2 pkg
Baker's coconut (14 oz package)
1/2 pkg
Nestle semi-sweet milk chocolate morsels (12 oz package)
1/2 pkg
Nestle peanut butter and milk chocolate morsels (12 oz package)
1 pkg
black walnuts, 8 oz.

How to Make Chocolate Covered Strawberries


  • 1Wash strawberries. set aside so they can get room temperature. Empty both chocolates into separate bowls. Line trays with parchment paper.
  • 2Heat each bowl in microwave for 10-second increments, take out and stir each time until melted.
  • 3Dip a strawberry into the chocolate and place on its side on parchment paper. While still wet, sprinkle topping on strawberry.

    I prefer the coconut on the milk chocolate and the walnuts on the peanut butter milk chocolate, but it's all up to you! ;P
  • 4Once you're finished dipping and topping, place trays in refrigerator and viola, you're done~!
  • 5If you want to design your choco-berries, just add a drop of veggie oil and reheat (this makes it thin out). Grab a spoon and dip and move back and forth over it and add your personal touch.
