Ingredients
- 1 cup active sourdough starter
- 3 - eggs
- 1 cup oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2` teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups flour
- 1 box chocolate pudding
- 1 package craisins, or other dried fruit
- 1/2 package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 - recipe, struessel topping
- STRUESSEL TOPPING
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4` cup butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
How To Make chocolate covered craisin sourdough muffins

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 and prepare muffin papers in muffin pans

Step 2Mix all ingredients together for muffins. Fill muffin papers half full.

Step 3Mix struessel topping together until it forms loose crumbs, if it clumps, add small amounts of flour until the crumb forms. Top muffins with struessel.

Step 4Bake muffins in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 5Allow muffins to cool in pans 10 minutes and remove to wire rack.

Step 6Variations can include different fresh or dried fruits, other types of chips and flavors of pudding. Vanilla pudding, white chocolate chips and dried cherries would be YUMMY!
