Start off by preheating your oven to 350F.
Drain and pat dry with paper towels your maraschino cherries, once cherries are dry; add a chocolate chip into the middle of each cherry, set aside.
Mix all your dry ingredient's in a bowl and set aside.
In a bowl add your; butter and sugar. Beat for a few minutes till light and fluffy. Then add; vanilla, almond extract, milk and cherry juice. Add dry flour mixture and mix till thoroughly incorporated and soft dough forms. Cover and chill for 1 hour till dough is easier to handle.
