Loving chocolate made this my easy love go a long way. Pull out the cobbler when it is still jiggly. It will set up. Just as good cold as hot.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup
    flour
  • 1 stick
    butter or maragine
  • 1 cup
    sugar
  • 3/4 cup
    milk
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • CRUST

  • CHOCOLATE MIXTURE

  • 1/3 cup
    flour
  • 1 cup
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 cups
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup
    cocoa powder
  • 1 Tbs
    butter, melted
  • pinch of
    salt

How to Make Violet's Chocolate Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix first 5 ingredients together. Melt stick of butter in 13x9 pan; pour crust in pan over the melted butter. Do not stir.
  2. Mix cocoa and sugar, flour, the rest of ingreidents and pour over crust. Do not stir. Bake 350 degrees about 25 minutes. Take off when crust is light brown. This will finish cooking. Enjoy
