Chocolate Dipped Potato Chips w/Pecans

Kim Biegacki

These chocolate dipped potato chips are so simple to make and yet they are so adored by anyone who loves salty and sweet mixed together. Anytime I make them they are gobbled up so fast you would wonder if I ever made them to begin with. LOL

They are great to make for any holiday and I consider them filler treats for baskets. In otherwards, if I need just a little something else yummy to add to a basket this is it.

Of course, that is what I did for some Easter baskets I sent out today with my husband.

Well, simple as they may be I hope you enjoy this easy treat.

Stove Top

1 large
bag of potato chips (ruffles ridges work best)
1 lb
dark chocolate discs candy coating, melted
bag ghirardelli chocolate chips
bag of pecans, crushed
wax paper
invididual plastic bags and twisty ties
other items you can use for topping: coconut, other nuts, candy spinkles, toffee chips, dried fruits

1Melt down your 2 chocolates in a bowl. Lay out a piece of wax paper and begin dipping your chips. Just dip half of them and then sprinkle your pecans as you go. The chocolate dries quickly.
2Once they are dry, bag them up and seal the bag with a twisty tie. Now you are ready to add it to your basket or bag of goodies for the holidays.
