So Delicious! Like a chocolate chip cookie for breakfast. Pancakes from scratch are so much better than out of a box mix.

prep time 10 Min
cook time 5 Min
method ---
yield 2-3 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 1 - egg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (i eye-ball it)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • - chocolate chips

How To Make chocolate chip pancakes

  • Step 1
Beat egg. Mix in oil and milk.
  • Step 2
combine all dry ingredients and mix well. You can add chocolate chips into batter if desired. I add them later on the frying pan.
  • Step 3
If Batter seems thin you can add more flour and sugar to thicken. *The thicker the batter, the fluffier the pancakes*
  • Step 4
Heat non-stick frying pan to medium to medium high (depending on your stove) Splash a few drops of water on pan, when water "dances" across pan it is ready.
  • Step 5
Pour batter onto pan, whatever size you like, And then i drop however many chocolate chips i desire on the top of my pancake.
  • Step 6
When bubbles come to the top and "pop" its ready to flip. If it looks burnt you need to turn your temp down.
  • Step 7
Cook a minute or so longer, until golden brown. Remove and eat. I dont think these need syrup, but add if you like. Enjoy :)
