Chocolate Brioche Sandwiches

This sandwich is a twist on the classic pain au chocolat and beats a boring slice of toast any day.

8 slice
thick brioche bread
8 Tbsp
chocolate spread (nutella)
2 Tbsp
shelled pistachio nuts,finely chopped


1Toast the brioche slices until golden on both sides. Spread four of the slices thickly with the chocolate spread and sprinkle over the chopped nuts in a even layer.
2Place the remaining brioche slices on top of the chocolate and nuts and press down gently. Using sharp knife, cut the sandwiches in half diagonally and serve immediately.
