MADE THIS DESSERT A FEW TIMES...TOP WITH WHIPPED CREAM OR ICE CREAM...HOT OR COLD STILL DELICIOUS :)

Ingredients

  • 3 - loaves of italian bread, cubed
  • 3 cups milk ( i used 2%)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup kahlua (or any coffee flavord liquer)
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons almond extract
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 6 large eggs, beaten
  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate chips

How To Make chocolate bread pudding

  • Step 1
    GREASE 13X9 BAKING DISH OR A LASAGNA SIZE TIN PAN. FILL WITH CUBED BREAD.
  • Step 2
    IN A LARGE BOWL WHISK TOGETHER MILK, HEAVY CREAM AND KAHLUA.
  • Step 3
    IN ANOTHER BOWL COMBINE BOTH SUGARS AND COCOA POWDER. ADD THIS TO MILK N CREAM MIXTURE N MIX WELL.
  • Step 4
    ADD THE VANILLA , ALMOND N CINNAMON TO BEATEN EGGS. COMBINE THE EGG MIXTURE WITH THE MILK MIXTURE N MIX WELL. STIR IN CHOCOLATE CHIPS.
  • Step 5
    POUR THE MIXTURE OVER THE BREAD CUBES N LET STAND FOR 15 MINUTES N MIX A FEW TIMES SO BREAD CAN ABSORB LIQUID.
  • Step 6
    BAKE THE BREAD PUDDING FOR AN HOUR OR UNTIL A KNIFE INSERTED IN MIDDLE COMES OUT CLEAN. SERVE WARM OR COLD WITH WHIPPED CREAM OR ICE CREAM....ENJOY :)
