    loaves of italian bread, cubed
  • 3 c
    milk ( i used 2%)
  • 1/4 c
    heavy cream
  • 1/2 c
    kahlua (or any coffee flavord liquer)
  • 1 c
    white sugar
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    cocoa powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla
  • 2 tsp
    almond extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 6 large
    eggs, beaten
  • 8 oz
    semisweet chocolate chips

How to Make CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING

Step-by-Step

  1. GREASE 13X9 BAKING DISH OR A LASAGNA SIZE TIN PAN.
    FILL WITH CUBED BREAD.
  2. IN A LARGE BOWL WHISK TOGETHER MILK, HEAVY CREAM AND KAHLUA.
  3. IN ANOTHER BOWL COMBINE BOTH SUGARS AND COCOA POWDER. ADD THIS TO MILK N CREAM MIXTURE N MIX WELL.
  4. ADD THE VANILLA , ALMOND N CINNAMON TO BEATEN EGGS. COMBINE THE EGG MIXTURE WITH THE MILK MIXTURE N MIX WELL. STIR IN CHOCOLATE CHIPS.
  5. POUR THE MIXTURE OVER THE BREAD CUBES N LET STAND FOR 15 MINUTES N MIX A FEW TIMES SO BREAD CAN ABSORB LIQUID.
  6. BAKE THE BREAD PUDDING FOR AN HOUR OR UNTIL A KNIFE INSERTED IN MIDDLE COMES OUT CLEAN. SERVE WARM OR COLD WITH WHIPPED CREAM OR ICE CREAM....ENJOY :)
