  • 1 1/2 c
    half and half
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 c
    semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c
  • 2
    eggs, slightly beaten
  • 8 c
    french bread cubes

How to Make Chocolate Bread Pudding


  1. Heat half-and-half and cream to almost boiling.
  2. Pour into large bowl.
  3. Add chocolate chips; whisk until chips are melted.
  4. Add sugar and eggs; keep whisking.
  5. Add bread; stir until all cubes are moistened.
  6. Pour into a greased 9" x 13" pan.
  7. Let stand for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Bake at 350? for 30 minutes.
  9. Serve with whipped cream or sprinkled with powdered sugar.
