This brownie recipe is meant for add-in's! Mini reeses cups, M&M's, chocolate chunks, whatever your stomach desires!

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup vegetable shortening
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • - good amount of candy of choice (i prefer mini reeses cups)

How To Make brownies

  • Step 1
    Mix wet ingredients with handheld or stand mixer until smooth. (shortening, butter, milk, sugars, vanilla extract, eggs and salt)
  • Step 2
    Mix dry ingredients in separate bowl. (flour, baking soda, cocoa powder)
  • Step 3
    Slowly mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients. When finished add candy.
  • Step 4
    Pour mix into pans of your choice. I use 2 8x8 pans. Bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes or to your liking.
