  • 1 c
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 3/4 c
  • 1/2 c
    and 2tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 3/4 c
    boiling water
  • 1 tsp
  • 2 Tbsp
    melted shortening
  • 3/4 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c

How to Make Brownie Pudding


  1. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, white sugar, and 1/2 cup cocoa.
  2. Add milk, vanilla, and shortening. Mix well.
  3. Add nuts.
  4. Pour into 8 x 8 square pan.
  5. Mix brown sugar and 2 Tablespoons cocoa. Sprinkle over batter.
  6. Pour hot water over entire cake.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
