Ingredients

  • 1 c
    lowfat milk
  • 1
    cinnamon stick
  • 2 tsp
    cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    water
  • 1/4 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • OPTIONAL INGREDIENT

  • ·
    dark chocolate as a garnish

How to Make Hot Chocolate

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat the milk and the cimmamon stick until just simmering.
  2. In a mug, combine the cocoa powder, sugar and water. Stir to make a paste.
  3. Remove the cinnamon stick from the milk.
  4. Pour the milk into the mug and stir to mix well.
  5. Add the vanilla extract and stir.
  6. Grate a little dark chocolate on top for garnish.
