If you need an easy dessert to bring to a potluck, party, or to satisfy your sweet tooth, bake a batch of these blondies. They are chewy and buttery with crisp edges. We used chocolate chips and the bars are like a thick chocolate chip cookie. We can't wait to try other flavors next time we bake a batch. Peanut butter chips and chocolate chips combined would be heavenly. All that's missing is a tall glass of milk.

Ingredients For blondies

1 tspvanilla extract

1/2 cbrown sugar

1 cbutter, melted

2 1/4 call-purpose flour

3/4 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt

2eggs

1 1/2 cchips (chocolate, butterscotch and/or peanut butter)
How To Make blondies

1Melt butter.

2Blend in sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, eggs, and chocolate chips.

3In a nonstick 9x9 pan, bake the dough at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Caution - edges brown quickly.
