This is one of my simple recipes I came up with for the S'mores Bar that we had for our garden party. I am a big, big fan of Black Forest desserts so this was my first idea for a gourmet s'mores.
---- I still need to post my recipe for the brandied cherries I made this summer. They were pretty simple to make but decadent in taste and just perfect for the smores. Yumm

If you love Black Forest I know you'll enjoy these. The ladies who tried them at the party loved them.

Ingredients

  • ·
    chocolate graham crackers
  • ·
    marshmallows, chocolate or chocolate swirl
  • ·
homemade brandied sour cherries or griottines (cherries in kirsch)
  • ·
    hershey, dark chocolate bar

How to Make Black Forest S'mores

Step-by-Step

  1. Roast your mallow and place melted mallow on your chocolate graham. Top with dark chocolate Hershey's letting it melt into the mallow.

Finally found the chocolate grahams at a grocery store. They are so fantastic with these S'mores. As I knew they would be.
  2. Now top with a spoonful of brandied sour cherries and a little of that brandied cherry juice too.
  3. Want a bite? :-)
