This is my grand children's favorite brownies for me to make for them... OOOH! AAAH! OH-SO-EASY -- AND SO YUMMY!!!

Ingredients

1-21.5 oz. package brownie mix
1 cup comstock cherry pie filling
1/4 cup oil
2 - eggs
1 1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- *** vanilla ice cream, optional

How To Make black forest brownies

Step 1

Preheat oven: 350 degrees.... Grease "bottom only" of 13 x 9 inch pan. Set aside.

Step 2

Mix in bowl: brownie mix, cherry pie filling, oil, & eggs. Pour in pan....Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from oven; sprinkle with chocolate chips, spread over top while they melt.
Step 3

Let cool in pan...cut into squares. Top with vanilla ice cream & some remaining cherry pie filling.
