This is a nice Christmas candy. My grandmother would make this at Holiday time. It is rich, but oh so good. Do not try to make this if the humidity is up.

  • ·
    2 cups sugar
  • ·
    1/2 cup sour cream
  • ·
    1/3 cup white karo syrup
  • ·
    1/4 tsp. salt
  • ·
    2 tbls. butter
  • ·
    1/4 cup candied red or green cherries.
  • ·
    1 cup engish walnuts

How to Make White Fudge


  1. Stir first 5 ingredients until sugar dissolves cooking slowly.
  2. Cook to soft ball stage.
  3. Cool 15 minutes.
  4. beat until it looses its gloss.
  5. Add cherries and nuts.
  6. Pour into buttered square pan.
