This is a very quick and easy recipe. I really makes an inexpensive gift for the kiddos to give with their valentine cards at school. Simply put a couple of pieces in small, clear candy bags, attach a heart-shaped cherry sucker with a piece of red ribbon and attach it to a valentine card. It would also make a thoughtful gift for the teacher. Simple, inexpensive and a little special.

How to Make Valentine Chocolate Cherry Bark

Step-by-Step

  1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment or wax paper. (This would also be very cute made up in heart-shaped candy molds.)
  2. In two separate bowls, melt the 2 types of chips. Melt each bowl of chips on 30 second intervals until melted and smooth.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate chips onto prepared cookie sheet; spread evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped cherries over the melted chocolate.
  5. Pour the melted vanilla chips on top, drizzling randomly.
  6. To get a marbleized affect, pull a knife throught the mixture in wide curves.
  7. Refrigerate until set then break into pieces.
