How to Make Twice-dipped candy apples
- 1Line a baking sheet w/ non-stick foil, or spray foil w/ cooking spray. Wash,& dry apples. Remove stems from apples. Insert a craft stick into each apple.
- 2Place caramels and cream in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 2-2/12 mins, stirring every minute until caramels are melted and smooth.Holding apples by the stick, dip and swirl in caramel. Gently scrape bottoms to remove excess.
- 3Chill in refrigerator for 15 mins. While apples chill, microwave chocolate chips until melted. Stir until smooth. Dip a chilled apple into chocolate, then roll into sprinkles or mini candies. Refrigerate another 15 mins to set.
