triple chocolate fudge

This is one of my Mother's recipes, which I make every Christmas. It is a very rich, chocolaty fudge.

Makes about 5 1/2 lbs.
Ingredients
- 3 1/3 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup dark brown sugar, packed
- 1 can evaporated milk (12 oz.)
- 32 large marshmallows, halved
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz.)
- 13.95 ounces hershey's candy bars (9 bars, 1.55 oz. each)
- 2 ounces baking chocolate, semi-sweet, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups chopped pecans, optional
How To Make triple chocolate fudge

Step 1In a large saucepan, combine granulated sugar, butter,brown sugar and evaporated mllk. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugars are dissolved. Continue cooking until mixture reaches a rapid boil. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in marshmallows until they are melted. Add chocolate candy bars and baking chocolate; stir until melted. Add vanilla and pecans and mix well. Pour into a 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan that has been lined with aluminum foil, allowing foil to overhang the pan. Chill until firm. When firm, turn fudge out onto cutting board, peel off the aluminum foil and cut into small pieces (this is very rich and sweet-a little goes a long way)
