Tootsie rolls? Who doesn't love tootsie roll chocolate!!! Now we can make it into fudge, yumm!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon plus 2 tbsp. butter, divided
  • 2 cups tootsie roll midgees
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 3 3/4 cups confectioner's sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/3 cup red and green m&m's candy

How To Make tootsie roll fudge

  • Step 1
    Line a 9-inch square pan with foil. Grease the foil with 1 tsp. of butter, set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a medium sauce pan, melt the tootsie rolls, peanut butter and remaining butter over low heat, stirring constantly.
  • Step 3
    Gradually stir in the confectioner's sugar, milk and vanilla. Mixture will be very thick. Fold in pecans.
  • Step 4
    Spread into prepared pan. Using a sharp knife, score the surface into 1-inch squares. Press an M&M candy, gently into the center of each square.
  • Step 5
    Let cool completely.
  • Step 6
    Using the foil, remove the fudge from the pan and cut into squares.
  • Step 7
    Store in an airtight container.
