Ingredients

  • 1 pound powdered sugar (whole box)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 5 ounces unsweetened chocolate squares, melted
  • 1 teaspoon either vanilla, almond or peppermint extract
  • 1/4 cup toasted almonds, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons colored sprinkles
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate sprinkles

How To Make tempt-me truffles

  • Step 1
    Mix cream cheese until smooth and creamy, then gradually add powdered sugar, mixing well after each addition.
  • Step 2
    Add melted chocolate and vanilla (or extract of your choice). Mix well. Chill for several hours.
  • Step 3
    Remove from refrigerator, and shape into 1" balls. Roll in the chopped almonds, cocoa powder, sprinkles, etc.
  • Step 4
    Keep these chilled. They also freeze well for later use. They are delicious, and make such a pretty addition to a Christmas tray!
