Last year I went on a mission...to find a recipe for the elusive "sugarplum" so that it could really dance in my head for christmas. This is the recipe I found. If you like flavors like prunes, raisins, mincemeat (which I do) then you will like this recipe. The kids will love helping make these!

Ingredients
- 1 package (15 oz.) raisins
- 1 package (12 oz) pitted prunes
- 1 package (8 oz) dried mixed fruit
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
- - granulated white sugar
How To Make sugar plums

Step 1In a food processor, coarsely chop raisins, prunes, mixed fruit and pecans. Transfer to a bowl; mix well. Roll into 1 inch balls, then rollin sugar. Place on waxed paper and let stand at room temperature for 4 hours. Store in an airtight container. Roll in additional sugar before serving if desired.
