My mom made these treats for us when we were children. I have made them many times over the years for family, friends, bake sales, etc. They have always been enjoyed by all. When I make them, it makes me think about my mom in the kitchen.

Ingredients For special k treats

1 cwhite corn syrup

1 csugar
-
1 cpeanut butter
-
4 cspecial k cereal, no substitutes
How To Make special k treats

1In saucepan, combine syrup and sugar.

2Cook until bubbly all around, but do not boil hard.

3Add peanut butter and stir until smooth.

4Add cereal and mix together until all cereal is coated well with syrup mixture.

5Drop by tablespoon onto wax paper and let cool.
