Ingredients

25 - 35 small soda crackers (i use unsalted)
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
6 ounces mini chocolate chips
- nuts (optional)

How To Make soda cracker candy

Step 1

Line cookie sheet with tin foil. Lightly grease foil with vegetable oil. Place crackers on foil. Mix butter & brown sugar together. Boil in a small pot for 2 minutes. Spoon over crackers. Bake @ 350 degrees for 5 minutes.

Step 2

Sprinkle 6 oz. chocolate chips over hot cracker mixture. Turn oven OFF. Put candy in oven until chocolate chips can be spread. Spread chocolate. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
Step 3

Cool. Cut into pieces.
