I had these at my daughters one christmas and asked for the recipe. we love them year round.:)

  • 3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 2 c
    mixed nuts
  • 1 c
    corn syrup, light
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter, room temperature
  • 12 oz
    butterscotch chips
  • 2 Tbsp

How to Make Salted Nut Bars


  1. Combine flour, brown sugar, salt and 1 cup of butter. Blend well.
    Press into an ungreased 15x10 jelly roll pan.
    Bake at 350* for 10-12 minutes.
  2. Remove from oven and sprinkle nuts over crust.
    set aside.
  3. Combine syrup, butter, water and butterscotch chips in pan, Boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour over nuts.
    Bake for 10 to 12 minutes more. Cool. and cut into bars. enjoy. xoxoxo
