My friend Karen made these first and I loved them - so I added a few things. This will be my new recipe for Candy Day with my in-laws. We have a Candy Day and each sister and sister-in law makes candy. Enough to send some home with everyone else. We also do an oramnet exchange and everyone leaves with a gift bag of kitchen supplies.! Great fun!

Ingredients

  • 1 package of rolo candy- unwrapped
  • 1 package pretzels- small square ones
  • 1 package pecan halves
  • 1- cup crushed pecans

How To Make rolo candy

  • Step 1
    Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
  • Step 2
    On a baking sheet line with parchment paper Place the pretzels on paper. Unwrap Rolo candy- Plae on rolo on top of each pretzel.
  • Step 3
    Place in oven for about 3-5 minuntes - or until rolo is soft -not melted
  • Step 4
    Take out and instantly place a pecan half on each rolo and pretzel, press gently. Then I sprinkle some of the crused pecans on top of this.
  • Step 5
    Placein refrigerator and let sit for an hour or more- till hardened. Place in cantainer with lid.
