I got this recipe from my mam-maw's recipe box. I remember making this with her when I was a little girl. When I made it for my husband, i had all the ingredients, except the Rice Crispies; I substituted Crispex, and it turned out just as good.

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1 cup light karo syrup
4 cups rice crispies or crispex
1 1/2 cups peanut butter

How To Make rice crispies and peanut butter candy

Step 1

Cook sugar and Karo until melted.

Step 2

Stir in cereal and peanut butter. Coat well.
Step 3

Drop by spoonful onto wax paper. Let cool; will harden as it cools.
Step 4

Once cooled, ENJOY!
