4 Dozen slices

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 c
    raisins
  • 1/4 c
    semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 3/4 c
    soft butter or margarine
  • 2 1/2 c
    quick cooking oats
  • 1 c
    flaked coconut

How to Make Quick Energy Candy

Step-by-Step

  1. Into blender container, pour half the Brown Sugar, Raisins, and Chocolate Morsels.
    Whirl on high speed for 5 seconds.
    Pour into a bowl.
    Repeat for remaining sugar raisins and morsels.
    Add Butter, cream well.
    Add Oats.
    Mix well till smooth.
  2. Shape into 2 logs.
    Roll in Coconut.
    Wrap and chill for 2 hours.
  3. To Serve:
    Cut into 1/2 slices.
    Store in cool place.

    Makes 4 dozen slices
