pineapple cream candy

I'm making candy and cookies for Christmas giving and came across this. I LOVE pineapple and decided to make it. Then I saw it needed adopting! Since I one who cannot pass up an adoption, I made it mine. There are 2 comments. One wants to know what to do after step 3. The other makes a suggestion for finishing the recipe. Soooo.....I will follow the suggestion and post pics and a review!

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup pineapple pulp and juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 12 - marshmallows
- 1 cup nut meats
How To Make pineapple cream candy

Step 1Cook sugar and pineapple to soft ball stage.

Step 2Add butter, remove from fire and beat in marshmallows, nuts and extract.

Step 3Beat until creamy.

Step 4Pour into lightly buttered 9x13 pan, and let cool before cutting.

Step 5Cut with knife dipped in hot water.
